Indigo Darshan, Indigo shrine n goddesses gaze challenges eurocentric white supremist gaze with indegenous ritual of darsan in vernacular shrines. Darshan is a way of seeing as a site of transformation. The making of this shrine is an act of healing these difficult incongruities. Frames are made in shreds of my mothers sari, indigo dyed fabric, yarn mirror and terracota eyes.
